Statement of Purpose

The Learning Resource Center exists to support the instructional environment provided at MTI College. The goal of the Learning Resource Center is to assist in developing students who are life-long learners.

LRC Hours

Monday through Thursday
8:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.

8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

  • Pearson VUE and A+ Certification exams (by appointment)
  • Make-up Exams (by appointment)
  • Test-Out Exams (by appointment)
  • Keyboarding Test-Outs (by appointment)

Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Please contact the LRC for an appointment. Appointments require a minimum of 48 hours notice before the testing time. No cancellations are possible within 24 hours of a scheduled exam.

Learning Resource Center Code of Conduct

Students will conduct themselves in accordance with rules that apply to the campus.

Students will speak respectfully to each other and the LRC staff to provide a positive learning environment for all.

Learning Resource Center Rules

  • Students will enjoy their food and beverages outside of the LRC, except for water in a closed container, which is allowed.
  • Students will only use the copier and printer for school related purposes.
  • Students will silence their cell phones and will be requested to exit the LRC if they need to make a phone call in order to provide a quiet learning environment.
  • Students will follow all directions given by LRC staff, including, but not limited to testing security requirements.
  • Students will inform the LRC staff of any needs for repair of equipment, or other issues that arise, as soon as they occur.
  • Students will keep all materials and equipment in the LRC.
